The HIPAA Privacy course should assist you gain an in-depth understanding of the Privacy Rule and a basic overview of the HIPAA Security rule based on the requirements of the HIPAA Law and more so, to make sure your entity is HIPAA Compliant. HIPAA Certification Test:
This is a one hour test which will be conducted upon completion of the course whereby you will need a 70% pass mark of the 36 question test (consists of 3 questions on each chapter and each chapter takes 5 minutes) to receive a HIPAA certification of the Certified HIPAA Privacy Expert (CHPE).

  5. The CHPE coursework is very intense. It covers all of the required elements that are needed to get you prepared for the final exam. I would highly suggest that you take sufficient notes during the course if you don't purchase the book. I would highly recommend printing off the addendums.
