Emergency Mode Operations Plan (EMOP) Template

Information such as; key personnel contact information, critical business processes, technology components required, manual work-around procedures, identified alternate recovery sites, and all other most important necessary things will be documented.

To make this emergency mode operation plan come true, each and every important member of the business unit (department) or organization must be trained in their particular recovery responsibilities, overall company emergency management procedures (Crisis Management) and Disaster Recovery (Technology) Plans. Each departmental member of organization shall have in possession an electronic copy or printed plan that is not located at the work site. This copy can be kept at employee’s home, in the offsite storage location, or in any another facility from where it can be recovered easily, etc.
